To all European Descendants in the United States.

If you have the courage to accept that you live with “white privileges” and proclaim that this is a free and democratic country, well, now is time to move to your understanding another level “privilege with responsibility”.
- Due to the color of your skin you have been the beneficiary of stealing of lands from Americans (First Nations) that were here before the arrival of the first Europeans.
- Due to the color of your skin you have been the beneficiary of more than 200 years of slavery in this country and all the atrocities associated with enslave people of africa and natives decendents.
- Due to the color of your skin following the Second World War your family benefit from incredible economic revival that marginalized opportunities for African Americans through Red-lining, access to financial institutions and Credit, and also government policies that did not extend.
It is high time to assume responsibility for the privilege you have.
Today you need to accept that your ancestor and your family are not only benefiting from but were complicit in the enslavement, land theft, and unjust laws that have led to huge disparities in income and opportunity for most all non-European Descended people living in this country and all the Americas.
Apologizing and owing responsibility is the first step.After acceptance we can begin a real process of truth and conciliation that must come with restorative justice and reparations.
